What will the future bring?

                                     

After reading some texts about predictions in the future, you have to write on your blog your own predictions (10)  about life in the year 2100. Those predictions have to be about different topics:

- School

- Music

- Technology

- Fashion

- The environment

- Food

- Life

- Sport

DEADLINE: 20th. January

ENDING OF THE FIRST TERM

Before ending the first term you have to do two things in your blog:

- Firstly, upload an image or a word cloud related to Christmas and wish Merry Christmas.

- Secondly, have a look at the questions below and write a short paragraph or answer the questions after thinking about your progress in the first term:

• What did you learn about culture?
• What do you need to improve?
• How can you improve it?
• What did you do in English outside the class?

DEADLINE: 17th.DECEMBER

THANKSGIVING DAY

In the United States, Thanksgiving is always celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November.

THANKSGIVING in 2016 is on Thursday, 24th. November.

DONALD TRUMP's triumph would represent a massive repudiation of the Washington establishment not seen in generations.

A NEW PROJECT

A biography

Here you are some hints to deal with this project:

• Choose a character you like or admire. It has to be someone who has died.
• Design a powerpoint or prezi presentation with some details of his/her life: name, date and place of birth, job, marriage, children, personality, important events in his/her life, date of his/her death...
• This project has to be done in pairs.
• You cannot read it. Try to learn it by heart.
• Be careful with the pronunciation of the past simple of the regular verbs.
• DEADLINE of the project: 3rd. November.

In this project I will evaluate not only your oral skills but also your writing.

Write an entry in your blog and tell me the classmate you are going to work with, the character you have chosen and why.
